Tele-Sexual Health Queensland (TSHQ)

Do you need to access a Consulant Physician in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine while living in rural and remote areas of Australia?

Stonewall Medical Centre offers tele-videoconferencing health care services with Sexual Health and HIV Medicine specialists.

Eligibility

Patient can access TSHQ privately (no Medicare rebate) or through a GP referral.

Patients who are referred by a GP and who have Medicare can access their rebate if:

  • They have a GP referral to any of our specialsits.
  • There must be a minimum distance of 15 kilometres between TSHQ and the patient.
  • The minimum distance rule does not apply to eligible Aboriginal Medical Services or residential aged care facilities.
  • There must be a visual and audio link between the patient end and the specialist end.

Meet Our Consultant Physicians in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine

Dr Graham Neilsen and Dr Fabiola Martin are experts in providing holistic and inclusive sexual health care to all patients indpendent of age, gender, race or religion.  Together they offer a sex positive space for all patients.

Dr Graham Neilsen

Dr Graham has been working in sexual health and HIV for over 25 years both clinically and in public health.  Graham provides medical care for many transgender, non-binary and other gender diverse people, intersex patients, and people with HIV and other STIs. He is also a Senior Staff Specialist with the Metro North HIV & Sexual Health Service where he works at the Gender Service of RBWH and the Sexual Health Clinics at Biala in Roma Street, Brisbane as well as Redcliffe.
