Important update

We are pleased to advise that Dr Fiona Bisshop, Dr Graham Lister, Dr Kate Evans and Registered Nurse Anne-Maree will be joining the Stonewall team.
Initially, they will continue working from Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane until 30 April 2026. From May 2026, they will begin consulting from Stonewall Medical Centre in Windsor, offering a combination of face-to-face and telehealth appointments.

This arrangement will continue until the new Stonewall site opens in June or July 2026.

Can I continue seeing my usual doctor or nurse?

In some cases, yes.

Dr Fiona Bisshop, Dr Graham Lister, Dr Kate Evans and Registered Nurse Anne-Maree will be joining Stonewall Medical Centre.
They will continue working from Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane until 30 April 2026. From May 2026, they will consult from Stonewall Windsor, with a mix of face-to-face and telehealth appointments, until the new Stonewall site opens in June or July 2026.

If your usual clinician is not one of the above, or is not available at Stonewall, we will do our best to help you book with another suitable member of our team.

What happens after Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane closes?

Stonewall Medical Centre will be supporting affected patients with ongoing GP and nursing care.

Patients who wish to continue care with Dr Fiona Bisshop, Dr Graham Lister, Dr Kate Evans or Registered Nurse Anne-Maree will be able to follow them to Stonewall after 30 April 2026, with appointments available from the Windsor practice and via telehealth as appropriate.

Where will these clinicians be working?

There will be a staged transition:

  • Until 30 April 2026: consulting from Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane
  • From May 2026: consulting from Stonewall Medical Centre, Windsor
  • From June or July 2026: expected transition to the new Stonewall site once opened in Fortitude Valley (not far from the existing Holdsworth House Medical Centre)

When can I book an appointment with Dr Fiona, Dr Graham or Dr Kate after they are at Stonewall?

Yes you can. Please call Stonewall on 07 3857 1222 and one of our team will assist.

Will appointments be face-to-face or telehealth?

From May 2026, appointments with these clinicians will include a combination of face-to-face and telehealth appointments, depending on the type of care required and appointment availability.

I was a Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane patient. Can Stonewall take me on as a new patient?

Yes. Availability may depend on appointment demand and the type of care you need.

Will my medical records be transferred to Stonewall?

We are working with Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane to hopefully achieve this. It is our aim for your medical records to be transferred to Stonewall Medical Centre as part of the transition.

This is intended to help ensure continuity of care and reduce disruption for patients affected by the closure of Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane.

Do I need to do anything to have my records transferred?

No, not at this stage. This should happen automatically as part of the transition process. If this is not possible however, we will update this page.

What should I do if I need a repeat prescription or referral?

If you need medication or an updated referral, please contact Holdsworth House Medical Brisbane as soon as possible to discuss the next step.

Please do not leave repeat prescriptions or referrals until the last minute, especially if your care is ongoing or time-sensitive.

Does Stonewall offer telehealth?

Yes, where clinically appropriate. From May 2026, Dr Fiona, Dr Graham and Dr Kate will offer a combination of face-to-face and telehealth appointments from Stonewall Windsor. Appointments will be available soon.
