At Stonewall Medical Centre, we are proud to be a GP-owned and operated practice with a long history of serving the Brisbane community. Opened in 1995 by Dr Wendell Rosevear during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, Stonewall was founded as a safe and welcoming place for all people to access high-quality medical care.
Today, we remain committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across all areas of general practice. While we are well known for our work with the LGBTQIA+ community and others who may face stigma in healthcare, our doors are open to everyone. We value diversity in our patients, our team, and the care we deliver.
Our Location
Stonewall is located in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs, close to the CBD, the Inner City Bypass, and Windsor train station—making us accessible and convenient for both patients and staff.
Our Approach
We are a predominantly private billing clinic focused on quality over volume. Our practice embraces technology to make care more accessible, efficient, and convenient, supporting both excellent clinical care and a smoother experience for staff.
